We decided to take off for Eastern Washington this weekend. It was Sammie's first "vacation". We had lots of fun and lots of hotel time because Sammie decided she's not big on traveling.....
And she's not big on sleeping in a play pen either!
So we ended up sharing our bed with the kiddos.....that was fun!
The first night we spent on one Kind Size bed....never again!!!! So the next two nights were spent in a room with two doubles. The girls on one and the boys on the other.
Here's Owen's first "real" pool! He was a fish right from the start!
I can tell that if he had some lessons, he'd be swimming in no time. Two hours later and I had to tell him it was time to get out because mommy is a prune :)
So we went shopping at a really cool store called hooked on toys in Wenatchee. And Mister Dress Up was on it again :)
I tried to tell him the hat is inside out, but he wanted to pet it so yah....
He's ready for huntin season! Wascelly wabbits!
We went and visited where his Grandpa Burts works and rode on the fun tractors again! Too bad for some reason Owen is afraid of the loud noise it makes, so that didn't last too long.
Here's breakfast of champs, in our "comfy" travelers in....by the way don't go to the Cle Elum Travelers Inn if you're ever that way.....seriously it's fabulous....or not!
But the kids didn't care they were just glad to be out of the car!
Here's another first....Owen's first movie! In 3D! We saw the new pixar Up film. It's absolutely adorable and very entertaining for both kids and adults.
It was great! There were "bad" dogs in the movie and because it's 3D it looked like the whole pack was coming right at you. Owen started yelling at the screen, "No! Bad Dogs! Kennel Now!" Its was absolutely hilarious! We have just had a really great start to the summer. It's hard to believe all this happened within a week! We are so blessed to be able to enjoy these types of things in this economy! And to think more fun is about to start! Grandpa and Grandma Gustafson and Uncle Vern are coming up here in 2 weeks!!!!! YEAH!!!! We can't wait!!!!
